Pfeiffer Beach

Pfeiffer Beach offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. The sun sets beautifully here, making it a great spot for photos. There is a trail leading down to the beach, making it easy to access. Bring a beach chair and watch the waves at Pfeiffer Beach. Parking is limited and fills quickly.

I recommend this popular tour from Viator HERE.

Point Lobos State Park

Point Lobos State Park is a beautiful place for nature lovers. The park offers great opportunities for nature enthusiasts who want to hike. Hiking trails lead into the park where you will see spectacular views of the ocean.

This is an easy place to spend half a day or just a couple of hours. For those who are looking for something different, this is the perfect spot to check out.

Bixby Bridge

The Bixby Bridge is one of many stunning landmarks along the Big Sur Coastline. It is a popular destination for photographers and tourists alike. Visitors will notice the bridge and nearby ocean scene from several TV & film appearances.

And it truly is a breathtaking view, unmatched anywhere else along the coast and easily accessible from Highway One.

There are multiple pulloff spots along the north side of the Bixby Bridge where drivers can park without blocking other vehicles. Be careful when walking outside your car near the bridge.

Henry Miller Memorial Library

The Henry Miller Memorial Library is one of the most famous libraries in the world. People travel from around the globe just to see it. You can find everything from classic literature to contemporary fiction to art books. They even have an extensive collection of vinyl records.

There are many events held at the library throughout the year. Some include live performances, book readings, lectures, and movie screenings. If you want to check out some of the cool stuff they have there, make sure to stop by sometime soon.

Carmel By The Sea

Carmel By The Sea is nestled on the shores of the Monterey Peninsula; it’s a gorgeous little city that offers visitors a lot of things including great food, beautiful scenery and even a lovely beach.

One of my favorite places to visit while driving along the Pacific Coast Highway is Carmel By The Sea because it’s such a peaceful place. There are lots of amazing, fairy-tale-style homes in the middle of the town and it’s a great place to stop off for lunch or dinner if you want to spend a few days there.

Point Sur Lighthouse

Point Sur Lighthouse is an old lighthouse built in 1858. This place is very popular among tourists who come here to take pictures.

The most Instagrammable spot here are the lighthouse and the ocean views. You can even climb up to the top of the lighthouse where you can look out over the sea. There are also plenty of trails around the area that offer great hiking opportunities.

Garrapata State Park

Garrapata State Park is one of California’s most beautiful state parks. It offers visitors stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding hills. This scenic location features a long stretch of golden sand, making it ideal for picnics, hiking, biking, and much more.

If you have time. the Garrapata State Beach is open for public access, so visitors and locals alike can enjoy its beautiful beaches and sunsets. It is located just over 2 miles from the park, which makes it easy to get to.

Sand Dollar Beach

Sand Dollar Beach, one of the most photographed spots in Big Sur, California, is located in southern Big Sur, about 30.5 miles north from San Simeon. This long white sand beach is surrounded by tall cliffs and rocky outcroppings.

The longest beach in the area, it is known for its always reliable companions – the tireless ocean waves crashing on the beach in a chaotic way, and frequent surfers.

With its always beautiful weather conditions, the beach offers a wealth of photographic opportunities, whether it is sunny or cloudy day.

If you want to capture the best picture of Sand Dollar Beach, you must go there at the perfect moment.

Monterey is a delightful town located off Highway. It’s home to the famous Cannery Row, where you’ll find restaurants serving everything from seafood to fine dining. And there are plenty of shops to browse — including some great art galleries.

It’s a small place but a great adventure for the whole family to enjoy. You can snap some photos of the beautiful scenery.

Calla Lily Valley

The Calla Lily Valley is one of the most beautiful spots in Big Sur. Located near the south end of Highway One, it is a popular spot for visitors hoping to snap pictures of the blooming plants.

During February and March, the valley is filled with hundreds of thousands of calla lily blooms. The small creek flows through the center of the valley, creating a bubble effect where the water looks like it’s talking to each individual blossom.

This is the perfect place to take photos because you’ll find lots of space to spread out, and there are no crowds. You won’t see anyone else taking pictures here.
