Located in Cleveland County, the winery derives its name from two sources; the Buffalo Creek and the Baker family, with the ownership of the land for more than one hundred years.
The first planting of grapes in the vineyard was in 2003. They have eight different grape varietals: chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, Riesling, red muscadine, scuppernong, and trampette.
The property also has a century-old farmhouse, a restored mule barn, and a milk house. They are now utilized for wine making and tasting wines.
7. Linville Falls Winery (Newland)
